Customize Quick Access Toolbar and Ribbon

     Ok guys, before we start, I want bring you to know what the hell of Microsoft Word it is..and why it more important in current day today..Microsoft Word is a popular Text/Word Processing Software. Simply, a word processor is a computer program that lets user enter text into the computer and edit, format (change text size, modify writing style), apply designs to the text, print it and perform many other functions. 

      It is used for the creation of reports, letters, memos, resumes, articles and all other kinds of documents that contain text. We can say that it is a successor to typewriter with many advantages like ability to store documents, correct mistakes without the need of overwriting or deletion with a rubber, copy and paste functions, mail merge, advance referencing features etc.


     So, we just jump to its functionality is..Which is our topics today about Customizing Quick Access Toolbar and Ribbon... The Quick Access toolbar is the one just to the right of the round Office button (or just above the File tab in Word 2010). This one:

       The three items currently on the Quick Access toolbar above are the Save icon, Undo, and Redo. If you look closely at the image above, you'll see an arrow pointing down:

        Click the arrow to reveal a menu. This one:

        The items with check marks next to them are the ones currently in the Quick Access toolbar. Clicking the More Commands option brings up the Customize tab on the Word Option dialogue box (the Quick Access Toolbar tab will be displayed in Word 2010). This one:

       The idea is that you select an item from the left-hand list, then click the Add button. When you click OK, the item gets added to the Quick Access toolbar. To remove an item, select it from the right-hand list, then click the Remove button. But click on Popular Commands at the top. You'll then see a list of items appear:

        Select Commands Not in the Ribbon and the list box underneath will change. In the image below, we've chosen Microsoft Excel as something we want on the Quick Access toolbar. That way, we have a fast way to open Excel:


     

   The next image shows that our chosen item has been added to the list on the right:

  
In the next image, we've chosen the Excel item from the list box on the right:

     The two arrows allow you to move your selection up and down. So, if we wanted to have the Excel item as the first one, we left-click to select it. Then click on the UP arrow to move it to the top of the list. Notice, too, that we've also added the Change Case item to appear on the Quick Access toolbar.

     Have a look at the list of items and add your own choices. Click OK when you're done. Your Quick Access toolbar will then look something like this:

   The Quick Access toolbar comes in very useful and saves you hunting around all the different tabs for the item you want. If you want to delete it, you just right-click at icon an choose "Remove from Quick Access Toolbar" or just go to here again, and choose icon that you want remove, then just click "Remove" button..

Hari ini saya hendak mengajar anda semua bagaimana nak buat satu laman web mudah dengan menggunakan cara saya...hehe...mungkin, selama ini anda semua sudah biasa dengan blog...seperti blog saya ni...iaitu duniaperisian.blogspot.com....sebagai insan zaman teknologi ini, sebolehnya, xnak lah kita digelar ketinggalan zaman kan...kalau domain ada blogspot ni macam x original sangat...hehe...

so, saya nak ajar buat original domain...senang je...cuba tgk website saya ni... http://herbalifepaan24.meximas.com/herbalife.html simple je...guna nama sendiri sebagai domain..hehe

haaaa, jeles x...hehehehe...mesty korunk jeles...hehe...ok, jangan risau, saya akan ajar korunk mcm mana nak buat website mcm sy buat ni haaa....simple je...tp, yg sy buat ni mmg simple tahap gaban...hehe...blog akan datang, sy akan tampilkan dengan dynamic website dimana ada database yang akan digunakan...ni just static website sahaja...saya cuma nak tunjukkan basic-basic nak guna filezilla, dreamweaver dan hostinger sahaja...hehe


Ok, sebelum kita bermula nak buat satu laman web yang mudah dan simple...anda semua hanya perlukan perisian macromedia dreamweaver 8 ni haa..sbb dlm ni nanti, sy akan tunjukkan cara2 bina laman web dgn mudah dan simple...

ok, skunk, lepas korunk dah install benda alah ni, korunk try buka dekat File >> New >> Basic Page >> HTML...so, nanti, korunk akan dapat mcm gambar bawah ni...HTML ni fungsi dia mcm nak buat website la...korunk jgn pening kepala..tp, kalau nak tahu jugak HTML tu, korunk boleh usha sini http://www.w3schools.com/html/DEFAULT.asp ..everything tutorial ada dalam sana...hehe..

ok, berbalik pd asal, lepas korunk klik HTML tu, korunk akan dapat page mcm ni..

ok, sekarang ni...bermulalah sesi decoratekan kita punya laman web...hehe...ok, skunk ni kat atas tu, kalau korunk perasan ada bar pasal code, split dgn design kan...

first thing first, korunk jfn pening dgn code-code tu...sy akan explain satu per satu...sapa yang ada basic HTML, boleh la skip bahagian ni...ok..

HTML ni dia ada open taq dan close taq...simbol dia gini haa untuk open taq <html>...untuk closed taq lak, dia mcm ni </html>...haaa, easy kan...senang je ni...nenek kita kat kampung pun boleh buat..haha..

ok ok, so, ni kira basic dia la...dgn benda alah ni, kita mampu buat website..walawehhh laaa...hahahaha

ok, sekarang cuba tiru yg mcm sy buat ni haa..

haaa, da setel mcm ni, kita save dulu...kita takut, tiba-tiba hilang kan, naya kene buat semula..hehe..so, nk save dia senang je...g kat File >> Save As.. "herbalife.html" dekat dalam folder "www"...korunk kene buat extension .html tau..hehe...

ok, yang folder "www" tu, kalau korunk ada wampserver, senang je...g kat My Computer >> Local Disk C: >> wamp >> www 

  

oh yea, lupa nak tekankan, nanti semua file atau gambar yang korunk download tu, semua kena letak dalam folder "www" ni tau...

pastu guna je file-file tu masuk dlm coding tu...mcm sy buat ni, sy belasah letak je nama file..hehe

ni hasil dia...tadaaaa...

nah, korunk try tgk ni, permulaan nak ke website korunk g seluruh dunia hampir bermula...

then, step seterusnya, korunk kene beli hosting nama and domain name...tp, sy tunjuk yang free je ae....korunk g kat hostinger... ni link dia http://www.hostinger.my/ then korunk order web hosting percuma..pastu masukkan la maklumat2 yang diminta tu...da setel, klik butang "Buka Akaun" 

haaa...nanti bila da tekan kat butang tu, korunk akan dibawa terus masuk ke page ini...tadaaa....!!!

haaaa...sekarang, nampak x kat box merah tu kata apa..dia kata, "Registration almost complete..."..so, tindakan korunk sekarang ni, g buka email korunk, then tekan link activation ni haaa...

then, lepas korunk tekan link tu, korunk akan dibawa ke destinasi pula...tadaaaa...haaa, yg ni, korunk tekan je "order" kat bahagian percuma tu...

 haaa, da tekan tu, korunk dibawa lagi ke page ini...tadaaaaa....masukkan maklumat-maklumat korunk...macam aku ni, aku buat herbalifepaan.meximas.com....yg ni korunk pilih "meximas.com" tau for malaysia...

ok, td saya punya domain name tu da ada org pakai...so, sy tukar sikit dengan letak buat herbalifepaan24.....pastu, korunk, tekan butang "Terus" tu dan anda dibawa ke page ini..

dan, akhir sekali, takan butang "Order"...yeayyyy..!!! berjaya...

then, korunk g tekan kat "manage" lepas tekan herbalifepaan24.meximas.com tu...

dan, korunk akan dibawa masuk page ini..

haaaa....nampak x katt tepi-tepi ttu tulis apa....maklumat tepi tu semua berguna tau...ok..sekarang, hosting da selesai....hosting ni umpama rumah kita da selesai....laman web kita yang herbalife.html tu pula umpama barang-barang rumah kita....so, sekarang ni, masalah kita hanya satu...macam mana kita nak bawa barang-barang tu semua masuk dalam rumah baru ini...yeayyy!!!

jawapan dia mestilah dengan lori...hahahaha....tapi, in terms of internet ni, kenderaan yang diguna ialah FileZilla...tadaaaa....!!!

nanti, sy akan bagi installer dia kat bawah blog ni keyh... :D

ok, lepas dapat "lori" ni, korunk download je...dan akan dapat hasil begini...!! hehehe...ok, abaikan kotak "welcome to filezilla" tu..hehe..korunk boleh baca nanti dekat "help" menu nanti...hehe

lepas tu, korunk perasan kan yang kat kotak filezilla tu perlukan host, username dan password right dan juga port kan...so, korunk juz direct g kat bahagian "akaun" or taip link dekat address bar mcm gambar bawah ni

pastu, masukkan je maklumat-maklumat tu dalam kotak yang disediakan oleh filezilla tu...macam ni haaa..haaaa, da hampir berjaya.....oppss, yg kat bahagian port tu xnk isi pape pun xpe..hehe..pastu tekan je butang "QuickConnect" tu...hehe

lori pun da siap pasang tayar...so, sekarang, kita juz masukkan barang-barang herbalife.html tu masuk dalam lori..haaa, simple kan..hehe..

sekarang, step terakhir, kita pergi dekat folder yang tersimpannya herbalife.html tu dan kita drag dia masuk kat kotak sebelah kanan filezilla itu...simple je...hehe

so, sekarang ni, korunk tarik semua yang korunk buat dekat herbalife.html tu termasuk gambar-gambar semua dan hantar ke kota belah kanan dengan drag file-file tu masuk ke kotak tersebut...haaaa...

so, everything sudah pun selesai....yeayyy!!! xpercaya, cuba korunk taip ni kat adress bar korunk..dapat x..hehe
